What is the shrinkMD waiting list?
A free early access list for shrinkMD's online psychiatry service. You add your name and email, and when booking opens in your state you get one email with a priority booking window before the general public.
When does shrinkMD launch?
Soon, state by state across our multiple licensed states. Waiting list members are notified the moment their state opens, which is exactly why the list exists.
Which states will shrinkMD serve?
California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Nebraska, New York, Texas, and Virginia, with care delivered by clinicians licensed in the state where you live.
Does joining the waiting list cost anything or commit me to care?
No. It is free, there is no commitment, and you can ignore the launch email entirely if your situation changes. It simply holds your place in line.
What happens after I sign up?
One confirmation, then quiet until your state opens. When it does, you receive booking access before public release. We do not send newsletters, promotions, or drip campaigns.
What will shrinkMD offer at launch?
Board certified psychiatric care by video for adults 18 and over: full 45 to 60 minute evaluations, medication management with non controlled prescribing, therapy, and follow ups of 15 to 30 minutes scheduled around real life.
How much will appointments cost?
Flat, published fees with no insurance billing. HSA and FSA funds work, and we provide superbills you may submit for possible out of network reimbursement. Details are on our pricing page.
Will shrinkMD take my insurance?
No. We use flat published fees instead, which keeps evaluations a full hour and keeps your records out of insurer databases. The full reasoning is on our why we don't take insurance page.
Can I get prescriptions through shrinkMD?
Yes, for non controlled medications, sent electronically to your pharmacy the day they are written. We never prescribe stimulants or benzodiazepines, anywhere, for anyone, and we are upfront about that because the evidence based alternatives work.
Is my information safe on the waiting list?
Your signup goes to shrinkMD by email and is used for exactly one purpose: telling you when booking opens. Nothing is stored on this website, nothing is sold or shared, and you should not include any health information when joining.
